Brandyn Hernandez
Founder & Executive Director
I’m Brandyn Hernandez — though most people know me as “B” or “The Hip Pop”. I’m the founder and CEO of The Pops Network along with it’s subsidiaries: The Hip Pops, Pops Production Co. & Pops Purpose Inc. a movement built at the intersection of creativity, culture, and community.
As a creator and brand architect, I’ve built multiple platforms and brands rooted in authentic storytelling, purpose-driven marketing, and impact that reaches far beyond the screen. My work connects entertainment, activism, nonprofit work, and production — blending passion with purpose to spark real change.
What I create reflects who I am: resilient, bold, and unapologetically original. Every project I take on carries my “I WILL NOT LOSE” mindset — a reminder that perseverance, creativity, and community can build something bigger than us all.
Rooted in the South Bay (Torrance specifically), we bridge generations through creative storytelling, fashion, and service — proving that being present, positive, and passionate never goes out of style. We exist to connect people of all backgrounds through shared experiences, good energy, and the belief that differences should be celebrated and can move in rhythm together.

The Hernandez Family
At the center of Pops Purpose is the Hernandez family — a tribe built on love, resilience, laughter, and an unwavering commitment to community. Brandyn and Paloma, together, set the foundation: two parents who lead with heart, hustle, and humility. Every move they make, every project they build, every family they reach is rooted in the belief that giving back starts at home.
Their four children — Bassy, Benji, Lea, and Auggie — are the rhythm and reminder of why Pops Purpose exists.
Bassy, the oldest, leads with quiet strength and artistic fire, showing his siblings what it means to chase purpose with focus and creativity.
Benji, driven, witty, and grounded, brings both brains and humor to the family, keeping everyone sharp and connected.
Lea, bright as sunshine and full of compassion, is the heartbeat in motion — dancing through life with joy, empathy, and an ability to make others feel seen.
And Auggie, the youngest spark, reminds the family how powerful imagination, curiosity, and pure goodness can be.
Together, the Hernandez Family embodies the spirit of Pops Purpose: family first, community always. Their love fuels the mission. Their story inspires the work. And their unity is the example of what it looks like when a family decides to lift others as they rise.
This is the Hernandez family — the heartbeat, the engine, and the soul of Pops Purpose.
